cant select differents part of the model in .stl imported models

hello everyone, i have some doubts about the differents extensions files that cfd admits. I am working in photogrammetry projects and importing a .stl file from rhino to cfd. When i open it the only option that appears it the wrap one, I have first to generate the wrap and then start working in cfd interface. The thing is that when I want to set the materials the whole model is selected as one part so i cant select the different parts of the model. I tried to import the rhino model as polisurfaces with .sat extension and i can only select or the whole model again or the little triangules that form the model 😞 dont know how to work properly with photogrammetry models in cfd, can someone light me the way? thak you so much
