Problem with opening

When I try to open it, it opens a message saying that a material database was not found, along with some directions on what to do, in order to fix it. However, the file is as it wants it to be, and the other one doesn't exist. I managed to open it with another computer, but even then, it cannot open the STEP files, or any files, for that matter. What do I do? I have a deadline in two weeks and I need it!

Hi @apollovf1is!
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\CFD 20XX and run CFDconfig.exe as administrator, then proceed with configuration. That should repair the database path and the "Material database was not found" notification should not appear anymore.

Could you specify what kind of notification/error you receive when trying to create a new study and select the geometry model?

I am also having the same exact error when trying to open CFD2024. This is the error message I am getting:

I have tried what @tymoteusz_lasko mentioned in their reply and tried uninstalling ALL Autodesk applications on my computer and reinstalling but that hasn't helped either. Any further troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

hi, not a solution but i am also having this issue. i have uninstalled multiple times and tried on two laptops. ive also tried renaming the file like it says however that didnt make any difference. if you manage to fix it any information would be really helpful.
