Hi All,

I'm trying to simulate a IR light inside a vacuum chamer that will heat up a product inside.

I can do this simulation with resistance heaters, but i can't find a good tutorial how to simulate an IR light.

Is there a tutorial how to simulate this? Or how can i simulate the radiation of these lamps?

Thanks in advantage!

Could you use surface boundary conditions of radiation (emissivity & temperature) and heat flux (w/m^2) to produce an effective IR radiator equivalent to a laser? It's CFD not optics simulation so I would guess you would have to makeshift some sort of equivalency.
