Hi everyone,

I am using Autodesk CFD 2027 and would like to automate CFD tasks using Python.

I found the Script Editor under the Setup tab. When I open it, Autodesk CFD creates an untitled Python script.

I have two questions:

Where can I find the complete Python API documentation for Autodesk CFD 2027?
I am looking for documentation of the available modules, classes, methods, properties, and examples.

Can I develop Autodesk CFD Python scripts using an external IDE such as VS Code?
The built-in Script Editor is quite basic, and I would like to use features such as IntelliSense, autocomplete, debugging, and GitHub Copilot.
Is there a recommended way to use VS Code with the Autodesk CFD Python API/runtime?
Can scripts be run directly from VS Code, or do they need to be executed through Autodesk CFD / CFD Script Editor?

I am specifically using Autodesk CFD 2027.

Thank you.
