topic Reading Model File Error in CFD Forum

Hey everyone!

I'm having a bit of an issue using AutoDesk CFD. I'm using it in conjunction with AutoDesk Inventor. I can create a 3D model in AutoDesk Inventor and import to CFD just fine. Everything imports as it should be. However, whenever I try to import a 2D model, the Output Bar shows "Reading model file" in grayed out text. The task manager shows no change in the the memory usage on the computer. Nothing happens after that.

The file is saved on the C: drive. I'm using the Student version of AutoDesk Inventor 2016 and AutoDesk CFD 2015. I also don't have the launcher installed for AutoDesk Inventor (all tutorials that suggest using this lead me to an installation file, and I'm told to click a checkbox that is unselectable for some reason). I mention this because I've been told that using the launcher leads to fewer errors. I'm starting a New Design Study from AutoDesk CFD.

Any and all help is appreciated!
