Show wake vortex from wings

Hello,

I have done different simulations with different wings. Now I want to show the wake vortex on a plane like you can see in the added pic 1. But i only get it done to show the wake vortex with vectors on a plane(pic 2).

Can anyone tell me how to show the vakes on a plane?

Would this be the same as right clicking on the plane to 'shade be results'?

You could also change the colours to the same as these (or similar) by right clicking on the legend to alter the colours 🙂

No.

I think i need some like velocity in x and z dimension but instead for the vektors i need it for the plane.

But i can only choose one dimension of velocity in plane properties. For vektory i can choose x-y-velocity or x-z- velocity, ... .

You might want to look at some of the additional result quantities we have available.

Vorticity might be appropriate here to look at these. If you don't have the results quantity enabled, add the check box and then run for 0 iterations so that we can compute them based on your current results
