Problem with Animation

Hi,

Why animation that we export from traces in result seems so bad ... I Export an animation from traces for 25 seconds .avi file goes 4 GB !!!please guide me to get more smooth and clear animation result.

I can try to help. What sort of an animation are you saving out?

Just from the traces window, or as an avi?

It seems like you sort of have two questions.

One that makes a large file (which I can't explain yet as they are usually really small) and another that produces a strange looking trace?

Might you share a Screencast of what the traces look like and the process you are going through to save them?

I have a problem with both of them that you said.

in my file, I just have to save animation with a .avi format and it goes 4Gb:(!

and traces are displayed very badly with delay.

I've had a quick look at the images that you've attached however it is hard to really see whats going on. Please can you follow Jon's advise and make a Screencast of the issue.

Like David and Jon mentioned, it's pretty hard to see the exact problem from here. I think I have seen this behavior before, though. Try saving out a shorter avi and see if the file size and animation returns to functioning normally.

In the past I've gotten around this problem by only animating part of a # of save intervals at a time, and then splicing the separate avi's together via a simple 3rd party video editing tool. This wasn't done while focusing on a traces animation, but just normal one.
