Hi I'm having a few problems running simulations on my model car I made from solid works

. When I import the step file from solid works to Autodesk Cfd I would always be missing a part and when i try run some simulations it wont create a mesh and shows a error. Could some help me

Hello, in that case, there is a chance that the model is not clean enough to be open in Autodesk CFD.

Shre the geometry and I will look at it.
BR
Karol

You could attach both of the file types. there is always a chance that exporting the model to STEP generates an issue.
BR
Karol

Ok, I checked the model. The bodies do not align to other bodies, Fusion is not able to join them.

You also have a lot of edges, which could be problematic to mesh.

You need to clean the geometry, you could try to load the step to SolidWorks and try to create one simplified body.
BR
Karol

hi thanks for responding and also for the suggestion i never heard of surface wrapping so i tried it with the STL file but i dont know what im doing wrong cause its doesnt seem to load the model even when i do the wrap its like it just disappears

Heres the STL i was using the orientation is abit wrong i changed it in fusion 360

STL files are not ideal with all the facets. Use another format such as step it acis.

Please see attached model.
