How to unlock a .dwg file??

Hi all,

I am using Desktop Connector version 16.5.2083. I opened a file from BIM360, but AutoCAD crashed while it was still opening. The file is now locked by me, and I cannot figure out how to unlock it. I deleted the .dwl and .dwl2 files to no avail. The status of the file is showing as synced (green check).

I am using File Explorer to access the files, and I am using Civil 3D 2021. When I right click on the file, there is not an option to "unlock" it.

Going out on a limb here, can you try to download the file, re-save it and upload it? That should make it a "new" file and solve your issue. I know it's not the solution you wanted, but I was thinking of it as a workaround because this might be stalling your work.

Currently, unlocking can only be done using the web interface, (within the 16.x connector is on the roadmap here ).

The process is pretty much the same in B360 or ACC. Select the file in browser, then unlock.
