Showing Changes in Design Collaboration

Hello,

We are currently running into an issue within design collaboration (maybe its not an issue). Whenever we try to compare a revit model to its previous version after we have shared a package, it shows us the elements that have been modified, deleted or added in the 3D window, which is perfectly fine. When we click on the 2D sheets within that same package that was shared, it does not show us the same information that is presented in 3D (removed, modified & added). It only shows us the sheet and doesn't highlight anything.

Is this a feature that is solely visible in the “plans” section of bim360 or can you also view the changes in 2D under design collaboration?

Is should do an overlay compare as shown below, you dont get the change visualisation like you do in the 3D view.

Correct, but we are not getting that overlay.
we make the changes to a sheet, sync, publish to the cloud then create a new package (on multiple occasions we have shared and not shared changes) and nothing comes up. Is it a matter of selecting both sheets (hold ctrl + click on sheets)? Or should it detect which sheet i selected and compare it?

Thank you for posting this on Forums.

As @múinteoir mentioned, it should do an overlay as shown on the picture he attached. It works slightly different than comparison for 3D views.

Please make sure you may only compare changes between consecutive nodes on the timeline, where the nodes represent consecutive packages or consecutive linked models. The timeline highlights the nodes to indicate which nodes are being compared.

Probably we will need some additional information about the issue. Did you try cheching it with different sheets or packages?

Yes, ive tried multiple sheet and doing obvious changes (see below square in the middle of the space) to see that overlay but nothing happens. Im also comparing between nods, you can see them on the timeline
