I frequently encounter this error. How can I resolve it?

Same here. I was excited to find my issue on the boards... but bummed there wasn't a solution. Did you figure somethgin out? I've uninstalled and reinstalled almost a dozen times now.

Bummer. I imagine you're not still dealing with this, but if you are, and if anyone else stumbles on this, I found this solution which worked for me. I missed the Note section below the restart and reinstall steps so I had to go through it twice to delete the last two regedits at the bottom of the post. After that, it finally worked.

I am still getting this ERROR...Crashed Module Name: mscorlib.dll Anyone even getting a whiff of a workaround or solution for this? Thanks for your time and any help in this regard...and Yes...I have uninstalled and reinstalled and performed a Reset of Desktop Connector and still get at least one crash a week!

Did you follow all of the steps in the link above, especially the last two regedits in the Note section, before restarting and reinstalling?

THIS...looks like the long "Drawn Out" version...

Solution: To perform a clean uninstall:

Close all Autodesk software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.)
In the Taskbar > System Tray, right-click Desktop Connector > click Exit
Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and Uninstall the application.
- Note: Alternatively use the Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooter to uninstall the application and fix corrupted registry keys. If Desktop Connector is not listed in Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooter. Select "Not Listed" in the tool, and use the following GUID code to force a cleanup (GUID code is unique for each version):
  - v16.4.0.2062: {C99E6DD4-363C-378C-BC95-B5A24B893D54}
  - v16.3.0.2035: {035A2621-35F0-4355-958A-FB30E458192D}
  - v16.2.1.2016: {F46062D0-D6AD-412B-A0E6-CEEA44BA105C}

Delete the following folders (to quickly navigate to your user profile folder type %userprofile% in file explorer address bar):
- C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Desktop Connector
- C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services\DesktopConnector
- C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Desktop Connector
- C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Desktop Connector
Delete the local Desktop Connector workspace, the default workspace locations are:
- For Desktop Connector v16.x, delete:
  - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\DC
- For Desktop Connector v15.x, delete:
  - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\ACCDocs
  - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Fusion
  - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\ADrive
- Note: delete all workspaces when migrating from DC15.x to 16.x
Open the Windows Registry Editor (REGEDIT)
Delete the following registry keys:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Autodesk Desktop Connector
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Desktop Connector
Restart the computer before reinstalling the application.
Reinstall Desktop Connector. The download link can be found here: Desktop Connector Release Notes

PS. You didn't include this section in your copy+paste. Which... unless you want to do the above twice like I did... is the key part. It should be included in Step 7

Note:
For Desktop Connector 16.x; if Autodesk Docs is not removed from Windows File Explorer, delete the following additional registry keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\... (find and delete the key indicating Desktop Connector)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SyncRootManager\DesktopConnector...

I am still getting this " Crashed Module Name: mscorlib.dll "...Is it possible this .DLL file needs to be either Registered or updated to a newer version...The version I have in Windows 10 Pro is:

Well, as you can see from the screen capture...I have a Whole Lotta versions of this .DLL file...

So...has anyone else tried SEVERAL TIMES the "Clean Uninstall of Autodesk Desktop Connector aka ADC" and you keep getting this .DLL crashing? I believe I may have to escalate this to Autodesk Support.

I'm not sure Phil. I can only say that workflow worked for me only after deleting the registry keys in the "NOTE" sections, then reinstalling the DC. If you're C3D has all the latest updates applied, and there hasn't been some Admin privilege roadblock, then reaching out to Support may be a good idea. You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling C3D to see if it will repair the .dll.
