To be honest, we quit using this feature due to the long publishing times associated with it, and the fact that we are using separate platforms for Issue-Management.

Not sure if it's resolved, but I would like to sarcastically say and ask, "It's Autodesk, what do you think?"

Hello all,

Attached is a comparison of two versions of the same wall in the same project. Is there any way for these to show the same way? The left version is what I see through BIM 360 Docs and the other is in the actual Revit file. Ideally seeing the true lineweights help when we are getting our plans and sheets reviewed/marked up. But because the lineweights show different on BIM 360 Docs right now, it is hard to decipher what is going on. Are we missing something when we publish? How can we remedy this?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Would it be possible for you to isolate just that bit that's showing in your screenshot in the Revit model and share it with me?

You can either upload it here or send me a download link in a private message.

Hi Bogdan,

We are having the same issue. It appears that the line-weights are being determined by some autodesk preset and not the settings defined within the project. We use line weight 5 for section, and 3 for projection. Then we have half-steps and very fine detail lines down at 1, which is also the standard value for hatch patterns within materials.

We export our plans at 1:50 (1/4") and the lines come out very very thick.

Don't have a screenshot at the moment, just noting which issues I am coming accross as I publish my models.

I know this is an old thread, but using published views in ACC is something which I would like to make use of.

In the below screenshot the difference between Revit (left) and ACC (right) is obvious.

And it's not even consistent across views. I have another view of a different part of the building and with the exact same view settings (from a View Template), and its line weights are thinner.

Found the answer over in this thread.

Apparently, the whole line weight thing only works on Sheet views. Not ideal, as all views should work as expected, but at least using Sheets can keep me moving.

It would be amazing if we had the ability to either set-up lineweights on BIM 360 sheets, or to at least use thin lines until we can get more robust features.
