topic backups file in BIM 360 Support Forum

I am working with model loaded in BIM 360, I did not set up the backups number while saving but the settings automatically have 3 backups. Unfortunately in BIM 360 manager every savings create new backups but this not overwriting the old version, so I have already 28 versions. Do you have some tips how make less versions without deleting every time old versions ?

@Anonymous According to the information you provided, I understand that you are working on a local file saved in BIM 360 Document Management. What I suggest is to configure the Revit file save settings to determine the number of backup files that are created and the location.

In the case of a Central Model saved in BIM 360 Document Management through Revit Cloud Worksharing, the versions of the model and the back up are automatically managed to have just the latest version of the Central Model and to keep control of this model versions every time user sync to central.

Let me know what you think!
