Thank you Anil. "About BIM 360 Model Integration" actually just shows how to create sets in Glue with the objects name. I was wondering if it is also possible to create sets in Navisworks and share these with Field. It should be possible when you create sets in Navisworks and then upload the NWD to Glue. But is this also somehow possible with an NWC?

Hello Guys,

is it somehow possible to use the equipment sets from Navisworks in BIM 360 Field. I know that it is possible to do it with an NWD, but is it also possible to it with an NWC. Our Designers upload their models on Glue and I share them with Field and map the equipment sets. In further steps I would open the NWC via BIM 360 in Navisworks and add sets. I would like to use these sets (from this NWC that get updated by the designers) in Field.

To ask the question in a different way: Is it possible to have one element in diverse sets (in one model) and map them in BIM 360 Field.

Best regards

Nikolas

Hi @nikolas.baum,

Thank you for participating in our Community! Yes, you can share NWC to Glue and then to Field and create equipment mapping. Please see this "About BIM 360 Model Integration" to learn more about sharing model from Glue to Field workflow. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!

Thank you for your reply. You should be able to create equipment sets from search sets in BIM 360 Glue and then share this model with Glue and when you do that you should be able to see search sets that was created. Yes, you should be able to do this with NWC. Let me know if this helps.

Hi Anil,

I know that you can create equipment sets through the properties in Glue. Where can I find the search sets in Glue? Can that be the search sets from Navisworks or can I also create search sets in Glue? Could you send me some information about that?

Best regards

Nikolas
