Multiple authentications and BIM360 access

I know that this is somewhat of a general question of orchestrating user authentication and not just BIM360 related. But I've been trying to wrap my head around how to access BIM360 data in a web app and maybe this scenario has come up before.

The scenario goes as follows:

User logs into my application against my own AD.
All the application APIs are accessible with the token received from the AD.
At some point the user may need to fetch projects, folders and models from BIM360 through the data management API. Naturally, the user account used in this API is not the same as in my own AD.
The user goes through the three-legged authorization process for the data management API and a token for it is received. (Or can the user just give her user ID for two-legged auth? Surely it can't have the same rights as three-legged?)
The user can access BIM360 data when needed.

How would you go about implementing this scenario.

(Using asp.net core for the implementation.)

Active Directory, in this case Azure AD. A user rights management system which the user authenticates against to get an access token to the actual web app.
