Hi there I am plotting DWG drawings to PDF with "DWG Trueview" however when do this the dashed and dotted lines on my original drawings convert to solid lines. Is there anyway I can maintain these dashed lines as they differentiate between existing and new. I have spent many hours trying to manipulate the tool bars with no luck. Can anyone help please.

No idea how you did that: can you show us by sharing a DWG file and posting a screenshot of your PLOT parameters pop-up? Your "bad" PDF wouldn't hurt to see either.

Is there a reason your dashed like is actually NOT present in the actual DWG file? Based on what I can tell from your screenshot that is hidden by the pop-up. Looks to me like you got what was already there.

What if you actuall plot to a larger sheet size and set an actual plot scale? YOu do know that no one has ever needed to print an unscale letter-sized PDF in over 20-years now, this is not paper printing, print to scale and full size paper all the time, let your PDF viewer scale based on paper print needs.

If you can... Share your actual DWG file please or reach out to the file creator for some help with it if you are not able to share.

Thx.

Hi Pendean,

I load DWG Trueview.

I get started,

I open the DWG file. When the DWG file opens in Trueview on the black screen. The line type is still a solid lines and not dashed line. As you have hi-lited my drawing in purple.

I also tried Plotting DWG file to custom scale on A3 sheet. When the DWG Trueview plotted on the black screen the lines were still solid lines and not dashed Line type.

It looks like when I first load my DWG into Trueview the black screen shows the solid lines even before I print the drawing. The scale of the drawing does not make any difference. I have replied to your Email and have sent you my DWG file.

regards

Peter
