Adding Raster design tools to my AutoCad 2018 student AutoCAD

Is there anyway I can get the tools of Autocad Raster Design into my AutoCAD without having to uninstall my AutoCad.

Or is this a completely other program.

I run version 2018 and I have a student licence and I have spent a lot of time setting it up the way I want over the past year so I am kind of hesitant to just switch.

Raster Design is a separate install. Go to your account page and download it.

Thanks for the reply. I looked through the list but I can't find the raster version. Not sure if that is normal.

As I said before, it’s a separate installation. It just adds RD to AutoCAD it will not mess up AutoCAD. All it does is add a new ribbon tab and menu.

You can use the MAPIINSERT command to insert georefereced image.

Are you a student with an active Autodesk Student account? Did you log into the site from the link I gave. Beyond that, I can't help any further with the exact links because I am not a student.

If you already have a student license of AutoCAD, you may already have access to Toolsets and Raster Design available in your Account page. You may need to click on "View Items" to see it.

Its under accounts / products and services / AutoCAD - including specialized toolsets
