Imperial 5D pipe bend charts

Not exactly specific to Plant 3D but I'm building some pipe specs and need to source some information as a sanity check for pipe bend dimensions. I already manually drafted a few 5D bends to compare my own dimensions against some of the existing sizes we have in our specs and, while the 90 DEG bends seem fine, I'm finding that the numbers don't line up for the 45 DEG 5D bends. I'm hoping to get my hands on something that provides standard dimensions for both 45 DEG and 90 DEG 5D bends up to NPS 48.

It's easy enough for 90 DEG bends - our company goes with a standard of 1 diameter straight length pipe at each end so the formulas for the center-to-end dimensions, or dimension 'A' in the chart below, are simply OD *4 for a 3D bend and OD*6 for a 5D bend.

I was able to find the below chart that provides imperial dimensions for 3D bends but am having difficulty sourcing an equivalent chart or resource that provides standard 5D bend dimensions. If anyone has something they'd be willing to share it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You could purchase the latest ASME B16.9 Standard having such dimensions.

A less expensive path might be best to ask potential bidders to provide submittal information, which may well be from 2 or more different manufacturers given the large size range you indicated.

Unfortunately ASME B16.9 only covers 3D bends, not 5D.

Have you contacted ASME directly? They might better know which standard (if any) covers 5D bends. If they are not covered by an asme standard, ask the client/contractor to submit all necessary information as @Washingtonn said. If they don't know as well, check in with your supplier/manufacturer.

If that is the case, you will have to rely solely on manufacturers - and if your spec requires compliance with specific standards or availability from multiple sources you will have to do some major investigation.
