Drop downs on the individual panels on ribbons not staying open when clicking the drop down

I am trying to access the drop down options on the panels in the ribbon but every time I select it, the drop down just flashes open and closes immediately, so I cannot access the drop down options.

Anyone know how to solve this?

you should reinstall your application, looks like something is wrong with your ui

Thanks, was hoping there would be a quicker solution than reinstalling but the reinstall has solved it.

For unexperiences users thats the easiest one, but i think it should also work with that article
