I'm trying to make a connection between a pipe and an elbow.

Unfortunately, there always stays a drip... so no connection.

Can anyone tell me if this connection is possible?

Are these connections also configured in the Connection Manager?

The ends of both items are PPL.
Also configured in Connection Manager.

I just tested Pipe and Ellbow with PPL endcode works with Plant 3D default settings.

The elbow doesn't need to come inline with the pipe.

It needs to be right angeled on the pipe, the elbow needs to be a branch for a drain.

A fitter at our company says that they are possible to weld an elbow directly on the pipe, so I would like to design it also like that.

No this is not possible.

A fitter at our company says that they are possible to weld an elbow directly on the pipe, so I would like to design it also like that.

Unfortunately, Plant 3D does not allow you to design an elbow directly as a nozzle on a pipe.

Even I know that many fitters do what does not always make sense or comply with the manufacturing guidelines.
