Auto cad mobile app issue

Hi, I’m having an issue with with layers an tools in auto cad mobile app I’m on an iPad Pro and have the latest version of the app.

Basically when I load a PDF into auto cad I want to draw and annotate on the image trouble is every time I create a new layer it says layer created but it does not show up in the layers tab at all I’ve never had this issue before however it’s been about 6months since I’ve used the program and it may have had an update which has introduce a bug.

Ive also noticed on previous PDF files I’ve worked on and have had many layers and annotations now do not show up either only the default layer 0 and annotations layer is visible. Again this is only with PDF files. I can create and view layers on DWG format with no issue.

I’ve deleted and re installed app but this has not fixed issue.

Thanks, but I have already submitted numerous emails to the support email with no response or acknowledgement of the issue.

Ah right, I. Suppose I’ve become accustomed to developers actively enganging on forums.

Well you might be able to help me determine whether my issue is program based or account based.

step to re create my issue are as follows.

Copy PDF into autocad mobile app

Go to layers tab and create new layer

This is where my issue occurs the layer is created but is not visible nor selectable.

I know the layer exisits because if I go to create a second new layer with the same name it prompts saying can not create layer with same name.

Anyway thanks for responding even though your not obliged to have a good one

I do not use AutoCADMobile to do anything with PDF files: wrong app for the task. But I am able to create a new layer and make it active in the app in any one of my DWG files https://blogs.autodesk.com/autocad/edit-layers-autocad-mobile-app/

Could it be you have a long list of layers and you are missing the fact that new layers be default are dropped to the far bottom of the list?

Question about your final intent: Are you just trying to markup a PDF? There are way better apps at the app store for that ability. Go there instead.
