How to split text above and below the dimension line

hello all. I am wondering how I make my dimension look like 2.249" top dimension and bottom dimension

2.245"

Can anybody help me?

Hi Mike (@mikec),

One way that text can be split above and below the dimension line by adding \X where you want the break. Note, it must be a capital X.

Hi People,

Does anyone know how to make multiple lines? See the attached png.

I tried using e.g. GIB TO \X COLUMN GIB \X TBC however it only seems to allow one \X

anyone done this?

The \X function only allows you to put part of the text below the dim line.

If you want to put the TBC part on another line, treat it as you would an MTEXT box. Either use the return key or contract the text box with the slider.
