Issue using Shared Views

I'm trying to publish a shared view via tab > Collaborate > Shared Views but I'm getting an error message each time that reads 'Unable to finish publishing the view' but gives no further explanation (see attached).

I've searched here and the only solution I found was this, which I've tried to no avail.

I'm working from home, using AutoCAD Maps 3D 2019, which is running on Windows 10 via parallels on a Macbook Pro (if that would have any impact).

Any ideas, ACAD Hive?

Hi,

first try to save your dwg-file not in a cloud, save it locally and try sharing again.

If that also does not work then create a new drawing, just a few items like line, circle, save that file and again try to share that view ... is this working then?

Thanks for replying. I've tried both of those proposed solutions but sadly the same error message is displayed.

Hi,

thank you, this is exactly what I meant ... and it shows that you have not installed any updates, not the one for AutoCAD 2019 and not the one for the Map 3D module for 2019.

This screenshot shows how it should look (today):

Either login to your subscription center (https://manage.autodesk.com) or use the Autodesk Desktop App to install these updates.

I'm now having the same problem with Autocad Map 3D 2020. There doesn't appear to be any updates available, and I'm at a loss of how to fix! Help, someone, please 🐵

Hi,

tried it now using Map3D 2020 ... works well with just a block in modelspace (>>>click<<<).

Can you try this with a new dwg-file and just a few lines in it?

When that works then please let us know

what types of objects are you using (just 2D AutoCAD geometry, or 3D, or Map3D GIS/FDO objects, ...)
upload the dwg-file (+data if there is anything referenced), so we can try that with your dataset
