Unable to see XYZ coordinates in MAP3D Data table.

Hi,

I've created a shapefile from a CSV with 5 columns. X,Y,Z, ID, TYPE and COLOUR. It seems like the XYZ is being picked up to plot the points but not displayed within the data table. Is there a way to get the coordinates to show in the data table (and possibly edit them to move the points)?

Hi Mikolaj,
In the Data Table Right-Click in the Header >> Create a Calculation...
Under Geometric choose X
Click on "geometry property" and change to "Geometry"
Change Name to Longitude

Sorry, but if you want behavior that's dynamic you need use Cilvil3D cogo points or plain vanilla AutoCAD blocks--they are more appropriate for those types of operations.

However, if you were to edit the attribute data, then you could edit the Table (with limitations, of course) and affect that specific point. For example, if all BH's are green circles and all TP's are red squares, when you edit an existing point by changing 'Type" from TP to BH, the result would be a red square changing to a green circle.

If you wish to relocate multiple points, then edit x/y/z in your csv to make another shapefile to replace the old one.
