&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000080"&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Need to know what exactly is corrupting the drawing&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I guess noone can tell you what damaged the drawing. But I would say one of the major reasons could be the usage of OLE-objects and the drawing format DWG2000 which is like comuter stone age. OLE-objects are a critical part, also sometimes in current software releases.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Whenever you have a chance to use anything else but OLE-objects, use the alternative.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And saving back drawings to such an old release should be avoided too.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a company owned application thats coded to use AutoCAD.&amp;nbsp; Drawing files are being corrupted and will no longer open unless a RECOVER is performed.&amp;nbsp; Need to know what exactly is corrupting the drawing.
