Mac and VLX file

Hi There

I tried to load VLX file in AutoCAD 2023 on Mac, then I realised that this suffix is not supported. Is there any way how this file can be loaded? Or is there any equivalent format which is supported with mac?

Hi,

vlx files are not supported in AutoCAD for Mac.

This is what I found when did my research. Question is if there is any way how to convert or rewrite VLX file to format supported by Mac or what is the equivalent suffix which can be loaded by Mac.

Hi @jfPMYR5 ,

VLX files are compiled AutoLISP files that were created with Visual LISP, but Visual LISP is not supported on Mac, and there is no way to convert VLX files to use them on Mac.

You will need to find the VLX author and ask (or more likely pay) them to rewrite their lisp to remove VLISP content.

Otherwise if you want to tell us what all it does and where you got it from, there might be other options. Might be... .

Same problem! But vlx is more essential for my work!
