Splitting modelspace into multiple viewports

Hi I'm using autocad LT for mac

I have several drawing files open and need to check back and forth between them

is there a way to split modelspace into several viewports so I can see them all at once?

You can split Modelspace layout into several viewports with -VPORTS command, but they will show the contents of the file in which you use -VPORTS command. In order to see the contents of other drawings, you can attach them to the "master" drawing as Xrefs.
