Grip Issues

Long time LT on Windows user and have switched to Mac. Trying to rotate object with grips. I select grip then spacebar to rotate. I right button to choose reference. I pick base point and reference point. It asks for the new angle. I enter a new angle and hit return key. It just bounces to stretch function. Is it Syntax, setting or something else?

Grip - Rotate works on Mac the same way as in AutoCAD for Windows and I cannot reproduce the problem you described on my side.

Can you specify AutoCAD LT version you are using and macOS installed on your Mac?

Have you installed latest Update to your AutoCAD LT for Mac version?

What do you see in the Command Window when you perform the steps you described?

If everything is correct, you should see this:

Command:
** STRETCH ** <--You select grip here and hit spacebar
Specify stretch point or [Base point/Copy/Undo/eXit]:
** MOVE ** <--You hit spacebar here
Specify move point or [Base point/Copy/Undo/eXit]:
** ROTATE **
Specify rotation angle or [Base point/Copy/Undo/Reference/eXit]: _reference <--You select Reference from the context menu here
Specify reference angle <0>: Specify second point: <--You pick two points here to set reference angle
** ROTATE **
Specify new angle or [Base point/Copy/Undo/Reference/eXit]: 45 <--You type angle and hit Return here
Command: <--Object rotated

Followed your instructions and noticed when I was entering numeric value it was not taking the numbers. I'm new to Mac. Is there a F key or something that turns off keypad numbers?

What keyboard are you using?

Are you able to type numbers from the number row of the main keyboard?

No input from the numbers on the top row of my regular laptop keyboard in auto cad. However it works in other apps. Like Excel

Thank you. The hot fix update did the trick. Actually I had several updates that needed installation.

BTW: that was one of my first questions in my first response
