Autocad 2011 for Mac - Missing commands

Several commands do not work in the AutoCAD 2011 for mac version. The shortcuts are on the CUI interface, but when you try these shortcuts or type the command, they don't work (message: unknown command).

Example (among others):

_qselect (Quick select)

_drawingrecovery (drawing recovery manager)

AutoCAD features that are not yet available in AutoCAD for Mac can be found at the following link. Drawing recovery manager is about 14th on the list

Thanks very much for your response.

It is quite unfortunate that these commands are not available yet and that we did no know about it (some of them are important tools). I hope they will be available soon and specially that we will be able to incorporate them in our version somehow.

I can't seem to find the multiline style window in AutoCAD for Mac 2011. I couldn't see that they were omitted in the list of features not included in the Mac version. Does someone know where they are?

stAte option in the -LAYER I tried looking for this in the menu or command, but I was unsuccessful.

OK, figured it out. The command isn't built into the software. I had to install Windows on my Mac and then download and install the Windows version of this software. I think not having these commands is a big miss, and I question the wisdom of releasing the product without them.

Thanks for the tip. I have found it but it didn't help about Layer Manager issues.

Hopefully it will be integrated in the 2012 version in March

Not sure, what kind of Layer Manager issues did you mean?

About integrating Layer states manager into Layers Palette?

Layer Manager, i use it to control the display of various sets of layers status. Like, floor finish plan, ceiling plan, architectural plan, furniture plan... In windows' version there is a dialogue box that appears and let you save the layers in sets. I hope i explain it right. Maybe someone, maybe you, happen to know such feature in mac version. OK, I got it.

Unfortunately сurrently there is no such a functionality in the AutoCAD for MAC, only command line version.

I think it is system related, so you can't change it (like Ctrl+Tab on Windows).

I am having trouble while trying to modify the dim settings,everytime I go into dim/modify and try to change arrows,txt,ofsets e.t.c when I go to save settings autocad hangs.can anyone help?

Hi,
Which OS do you have on your Mac, if it is 10.9 (Mavericks), than AC 2011 is not compatible with this OS and Dim Style dialog will not work properly in it.
