Thanks for your reply Maxim!

I already set the angle to Deg/Min/Sec. When I key in, for example, 96D32'10", and to check back the angle, I put a horizontal line, so I can label the angle. unfortunately, it came out 7Degree. Thats what I mean, I think it does not take my 32'10" into it.

Dear all AutoCAD Mac users,

I am a graduate architect, I understand that I might not in a right way(using autocad mac) to redraw a boundary survey(I only got the hardcopy). As i only do this once in awhile, I dont think it is neccesary to get a Civil 3D using in another pc with Window. So im here to check whether it is work in AutoCAD for MAC?

My question:

I find difficult to close a boundary survey plan. For example, a boundary with 4 lines with bearing, but cannot CLOSE everytime. I got some idea: the bearing that I key in, the system doesn't take all my 'minute' and 'second'. But, it round off my Deg/Min/Sec into Decimal Degree.

Next thing is, I only can label the dimension of each line but the 'alternative unit' cannot be angle (Deg/Min/Sec)??

Can anyone please help! Many thanks.

Jonathan.

I think you need to change angle units in your drawing and set the precision - menu Format -> Units:

You need to fine-tune dimension style you are using:

menu Tools -> Dimension Style -> from "gear" menu select "Modify" -> Primary units:
