How do I access ctb/stb files ?

Hello,

I am fairly new to AutoCAD/ Mac Autocad in general. Used to work on a windows computer and then I changed companies and changed computers. Anyways.. I have a question on how to install ctb files and have the option to choose them in my page setup window.

Currently my page set up window looks like this:

When I worked on windows the option was clearly there to change ctb files if I wanted to. Any help on how to proceed would be very helpful.

Hi,

The easiest way is to use "Reveal in Finder" in Plot Style drop-down list to access the folder where ctb/stb files are storied on your Mac by default:

You can copy your custom ctb/stb files there.

Another way is to add a folder with your custom plot style table files to the Plot Style Table search path in Application tab of AutoCAD Preferences window:

If you will prefer to use second way, avoid to add folder which is on the network drive - sometimes this will prevent AutoCAD from finding custom ctb/stb files. It is better to create folder foe custom ctb/stb somewhere inside your Home folder.
