lssue saving a txt file as a pat file on a Mac

I can't get the following hatch pattern to save on my Mac to a .pat file extension.

Could someone help me convert this to a .pat extension? Mine Mac keeps creating a .txt after the .pat Just FYI...I have tried it with a blank line at the end.

Any help or ideas on this will be greatly appreciated!

Hi @jp_finedesign ,

Also make sure that you save PAT file as Plain Text.

Thank you! It says it is plain text in Finder. I don't know what I am
missing on this one. I even changed the default to plain text in the
Notepad preferences. It still keeps showing up with a .txt extension.

When you save the file, you need to add ".pat" at the end of the name (without quotes of course) and uncheck the option I showed in my previous post.
