AutoCad Mac crash problems

Has anyone found a workable solution for the random crashes in AutoCad Mac? I have a brand new Mac mini and AutoCad Mac 2025 and get random crashes at random intervals. There doesn't seem to be any reason to why nor can I recreate it.

Fresh install on a brand new Mac with latest OS, etc. - very frustrating. I read about turning off Command line box but how can you work without that turned on?

Seems like an AutoCad bug for sure, wish they'd get it fixed. Let me know if you've found a way.

What is your exact MacOS version please?
And confirm manually that you have the AutoCAD for MAC 2025.1 update installed please.

MacOS: Sequoia 15.3.2 (Latest version of Mac Mini - M4 Pro and 48GB of memory)
AutoCAD Mac 2025.1 Update is installed.

What do you need the command line for?

I have one idea, but it's quite a rough solution and not a real solution. And, of course, this problem should be fixed by the developers.

You can use AutoCAD ability to write the contents of the command history to a log file.

- Change LOG file location in AutoCAD preferences to be able to easily find LOG files.

- Set LOGFILEMODE System Variable to 1

- Open LOG file (It will be separate for each drawing) in text editor which supports refreshing the contents of the opened text file on the fly, for example - BBEdit app

- Now you will be able to see command line history in the BBEdit window - it will turn out to be a kind of surrogate for a command window.

I regularly use the command line because that’s where I see options for various commands. Example Zoom shows All Center Extents Previous Scale Window Object. Also, if I use the Distance command, the result is displayed in the Command Line. Is there another way to see these options or feedback? That’s all I use it for so if there is another way, I’d gladly disable it.

You can see these options when Dynamic input is ON.

I'm having the same issue. Support says "re-install," so I did. Same problem. Support says go back to defaults, as I upgraded and migrated my preferences. But I won't do that, as you are running a new install and you have the same issue. Def need an update fix from AutoCAD.

My solution is to change my auto-save to one minute, and SAVE often.

I've changed my autosave to 5 minutes - does the 1 minute setting affect your work or does it just happen without you noticing
