    <description>Hi , thank you for unlocking the viewport on my drawing. I’ve tried to find out where you did this, I can see in model space, view, there are viewport options there but nothing that actually says locked or unlocked.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Eric&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>when working in Model - how do you see it in layout?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have drawn a drawing (not very well!) in Model, when switching to layout, nothing can be seen and nothing can be seen in print preview. As Im new to this stuff can anyone help?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Eric,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Viewport in the Layout in your drawing was locked, that is why you won't be able to use ZOOM command inside viewport and as a result you couldn't see objects created in Model space.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I unlocked viewport and now you can set&amp;nbsp;appropriate scale in it, ten print layout.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You can lock / unlock viewport in Properties palette and with the button on Status Bar - select viewport in Layout then use one of these controls:&lt;/P&gt;
