Printer Error in AutoCAD LT Mac 2018

Hello. I just migrated from LT Mac 2017 to LT Mac 2018 and I am getting the following 'AutoCAD LT Warning.' It's incredibly frustrating as it pops up every time I print a sheet from paperspace. Everything was working fine in LT Mac 2017 and the printer is working with all other applications. There has been no change to the printer setup or the printer driver. I can obviously fix it each time and save it, but to do this to every sheet in every file would be beyond tedious.

Any ideas how to fix this?

How are you fixing it?
On the warning pop-up it states there are three reasons why, which one is the problem exactly?

That's the problem. I don't know which reason is for the error. Because I changed nothing related to my printer and it works fine in LT Mac 2017 and for all other programs, I don't know the reason. Also, I can adjust the settings (re-select the printer, paper, etc.) and save/print. Once saved, the error does not pop up. But do to this for every page in every file will be beyond annoying.

Hi Eric,

Such message appears if the print device name was saved in the drawing:
- when somebody created page setup with this printing devise and set it current
- when somebody clicked on "Apply to Layout" button in the Print dialog.

So looks like in the files where you get such alert have the printing device name was saved by one of the above ways. The alert goes away as soon as you change Page Setup or click on "Apply to Layout" on your machine.

If you have to reselect the printer, then someone else opened the file, did the same but for their printer, and saved your file.

It could be as simple as you both print to the same printer, but they have v1.1 driver and you are still on v1.0 driver, or on their system the printer is called bubba1 and on your system the printer is called bubba2.

As @maxim_k noted, Who else touched your file(s)?

Thanks for the help, everyone! But no one else has access to the files. Just me and my machine. And as mentioned previously, there is no problem in LT Mac 2017 with the same files. Only since upgrading to 2018 a couple of days ago.

I'll keep looking for solutions.

Hi Eric,

If the drawing opens in 2017 LT Mac and no warnings pop up when open Edit page setup dialog, it seems a bug.

Could you please kindly send me the drawing which has this issue？

Hi @eric,

I haven't seen a reply from you so I am hoping this is working properly now.

Do you have a device (HP 5100 series) that matches the one in the error? If you create a NEW page setup for the layout using a different printer driver (such as another system printer or PDF driver) does the error go away?

I would like to see a sample drawing with this error so I can try to help.
