Disable F1 Help Key

I am using AutoCAD LT 2025 for Mac. I have searched and tried the help methods, but cannot figure out how to disable the F1 key to open up help. It is very annoying and cumbersome that my finger accidentally touches F1 when trying to get the ESC key. I would like the other function keys to remain per AutoCAD commands (ortho, snap, etc.)

Thanks for any insight that can be provided!

Glue a thumbtack with the point up to the key.

You'll learn not to tap it. 🤣

Seriously, you can edit the CUIX file to define what F1 does.

I had seen this, but cannot get it to work. See below for what I see when I try to right click on cancel to add a new command:

I tried Edit, and get this dialog box:

When I try to press the F1 key in the shortcut key box, it just beeps at me. In fact anything that I try to type in that box beeps at me. It’s making me crazy!

I’d try your thumb tack idea, but I have severe neuropathy in my hands due to MS, so I wouldn’t feel the ****! 😂
