AutoCAD LT - Default scale when entering Block Editor

Using Autocad LT 2019 and 2022 (yes, I know, I'll update both machines one day)

Usually working in model space at perhaps 1:50 or 1:100. Whenever I enter Block Editor the scale changes to 1:5000, with text scaling wildly across the screen and I have to change the scale to something sensible before I can do anything. Really awkward when flipping in/out of blocks repeatedly.

Can I fix the default Block Editor scale, or the default scale for individual blocks so they stay editing at something more useful?

[ The subject line of this post has been edited for clarity by @handjonathan Original: default scale when entering Block Editor ]

Thanks...

see attached...

It isn't all blocks I create that do this - most default to 1:1 when editing. I just can't see what it is that I need to do to define the editing scale.

Thanks,

It's because your text objects have every scale added to them, so it defaults to the biggest scale. See the image below

Thank you - I was assuming it was the block/block editor that was the issue - hadn't thought of blaming the text I copied off a colleagues drawings...
