I tried a few fixes, setting osnapcoord to 1, docking my command line and changing some settings in drafting options but Snap Tracking still does not seem to work correctly. I never had this issue before opening a new drawing this morning. This new drawing was an old existing client Native, Its possible the dwg was created with an older version of CAD, could this be causing the issue? When opening a more recent self developed drawing Object Snap Tracking works fine.

When I grab a text box or any object, I select the midpoint for example to move that object. When I got to move the object, I can then drag my cursor to the midpoint of another object and it creates this phantom reference line and my movement is locked to that reference line when I start to move the object. I love this setting but right now its currently disabled.

Any info is appreciated.

Object snap tracking. The quickest way is F11. See the link below

I've been fighting this problem. I had double checked all options like intersection being on, F11 enabled, almost all of the possible snap variation settings.

The thing that cured it for me was getting rid of all Z-Values and Elevations whilst working in the "TOP" 2D view. Guess snap doesn't enjoy translating Z data into a 2D work surface.
