Incorrect count from create table function

Hi,

We have an issue with one of our office PC's producing incorrect block counts from the count function. This problem only happens with one of the PC's in our office. Its absolutely fine on other PCs in the office. It happens on any drawing file, and has only just started to do this for seemingly no reason? See attached image "B". This is the section of blocks that the count is created from. Then when we select the "create table" option, it creates the table, but it then doubles (and sometime other multiples) up the count for no reason. See image "C". You will see the correct block count on the right, along with the table created on the left with incorrect count.

This one has me baffled, so any help most appreciated.

Hi,

I am missing the count table to compare between, but okay. I guess you liked to say: The tables made from alle other PCs showing the same content as the Count Palette.

Just one PC creates tables with field who are counting with multiplier x2

1. Compate your products, the productversions, command: ABOUT

2. Same problem in alle files? If not, open the file in question by command RECOVER, run AUDIT yes, qsave,close,open - test it again.

Feel free to share this sample .dwg incl. the table, made from the problem PC

@MRF80 I9s this a sudden new problem? Or a new PC or a new installation?
Or a new employee? Or....?

Has anyone just restarted the computer to see if the issue goes away?
Or reset that software installation yet? Since it "only happens on one"... .

What is the year version of LT that this happens as listed by the program's ABOUT command? and the OS is? What about everyone else who is not having this issue?

Has anyone explored the FIELD in that cell in more detail ye, and compared it to others?

Odd that the problem only occurs on “one PC” If a dwg was corrupted and requires an audit to repair then all your office PCs would have produced the same counting problem. Something still smells fishy around here. I’d say you still have not found the original cause of the problem.

What is the difference between the one and all other PCs?

You Autodesk Productname is? your productversion is?

I would expect that you have a newer Product than all other PC installed.

and the content or installation is not plain Autodesk stuff.

Yes it's very odd!. I do not understand it at all. But the AUDIT seemed to sort the issue.

The same product version. Both have latest version of LT installed.

Never heard such a case before and it doesn't make much sense.
