Activation emails every time I open AutoCAD Revit LT 2016

Every time I open AutoCAD 2016 LT or Revit 2016 LT it checks for the license over the Internet and sends me an email thanking me for registering and activating the program along with an activation code. EVERY TIME I OPEN THE PROGRAM.

Also I cannot open either program if I am not connected to the Internet so it can phone home.

When I fell for the subscription I was under the understanding that I could use the software offline since I need to go to job sites to do some of my work.

How can I stop the emails that are filling my inbox and how can I work offline?

Came here to post this same issue, 12 seat key. I see every time anyone logs in. I guess now I can tell which engineers are working...

Hi @tkbim and @kenserYA5G3,

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the issue. You need to be connected to the internet the first time you activate the software and then you can use it for 30 days offline, until you will have to check in again. Your initial problem though may be caused by your antivirus software/firewall. Have you tried disabling it before starting the software when connected to the internet?

If you are still having trouble, you can contact activation and registration with a request code and they will get you up and running.

I tried a second internet source and disabled my windows firewall and antivirus and ran as admin.

No resolution.

I had both the firewall disabled and the anti virus disabled and no change.

I still get the emails every time the programs are opened and cannot acce3ss the software offline.

Hi @kenserYA5G3,

It looks like you ordered on leap day, which caused a bit of a problem as 2/29/2019 doesn't exist. I have adjusted this in our system and resynced your account (please not that resyncs can take up to 24 hours, usually much less). You should be good now though.

Your account is looks good on your end, however I am going to resync it also across our systems. Let me know if you are still experiencing this issue after 24 hours and I will escalated a case for you. If you could provide screenshots, it would be most helpful.

Still having issues.. also I have a case open 11576127

Troubleshooting steps taken

1) Ran software as admin

2) deleted C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet per https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/installation-activation-licensing/get-ready/remove-products/clean-uninstall

Any help would be appreciated.. I really need to get this running.

Nothing has changed with my problem.
Every time I open either program I get an activation email and I can't run either program offline.

I need to get this resolved since this is useless to me without being able to work without an internet connection on job sites.

I am also having this same issue. It is cluttering my email getting an activation email every single time I open the program. Even if I close it and re-open it, I still get another email. I ordered Autodesk Revit LT on March 2nd.

"If you are still having trouble, you can contact activation and registration with a request code and they will get you up and running."

I don't see that either of you have posted that you tried that step.

When you give autodesk a request code, then manually put in an activation code, it supercedes the automatic registration process, which sounds like what you both are experiencing problems with.

Since I have a multiple seat key, I was more or less told to activate it online only when I asked for offline activation.

"In order to activate this type of license you have to follow this steps: [proceeds to give online activation steps]"

Yes, I have done this and it does not resolve my problem.

I cannot even log into the support to view my case. The signin page comes up but the submit button is not active after I enter my login information.

Is there any Autodask support?

I am seriously considering returning this product for a refund.
