topic Format tab in AutoCAD LT Forum

I have just moved to AutoCAD LT from the full version but I can't find the 'Format' function to change dimensions, text style etc. I'm sure it's obvious but I can't see it.

Thanks

Which version of LT do you have?

Also

At the command line type MENUBAR change it to 1

Brilliant & thanks,

It must be nice to really know how this software works and what it can do.
I've been using Autocad since version 11 back in the 90's and still only
know about 5% of what it's capable of.

Alan Woolnough

That's a Windows OS restriction, LT is only reporting what the OS is telling it about where you are saving your files to.

So where are you saving your files to (be specific if this is on your PC), and is this different from where you saved files last time it all worked fine?
What else changed on your PC or where you store your files?

Hi and thanks,

As far as I know, nothing has changed and it's only this one drawing this
time. I'll get hold of my local IT guy and see what he has to say.

Thanks for the help.

Alan
