Thanks, I saw that option. Whether I chose it or not it only would print a blank piece of paper. I think in the end was that it was set to Display....which I thought would print what was displayed on the screen.....maybe it was doing this, but there was some extra space around the actual drawing elements....so possibly that is why only a single blank page would print. I tried window and just grabbed an area, and that worked. Thanks. Paul

I am trying to use AutoCAD LT 2016 edition to open a dxf and print it at a scale of 1:1 on 8.5" x 11" paper. It will probably take 3 sheets of paper.

The plotting / printing in this program sucks as far as I can tell because 30 minutes later all I have managed to get is a blank piece of paper.

Is there a SIMPLE way to just print the damned thing? If not, what are the 10,000 settings that I have to make before doing the mots basic of basic of basic tasks in CAD - printing?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

DXF is attached in case it helps.

See attached PDF, 1:1 scale of the middle of your drawing, it took about 5-seconds after I opened the file: what's the challenge that took 30-minutes?

See screenshot below of what I used for plot command settings: are you new to using AutoCAD by chance? You have to learn the basics upfront with this complex program
