Hello Sir,

I have problem when try to open 2 CAD dwg. The fatal error keep pop out. Hope to hear your reply soon.

if this error only occurs on one particular drawing then it's possible that drawing file is corrupted.

you may try using the RECOVER command to open that dwg file.

Hi, it didn't seems to be the way. I have tried open other drawings, it also showed the same thing. When I open one CAD dwg, it seems fine, but when I try to open another drawing, the fatal error came out.

Did this problem just suddenly occur?

Has there been any changes to your computer?

What version of Windows are you running?

Run AutoCAD with a new dwg opened only and enter About command. Do a screen capture and post that here so we know what version of LT you’re running

Actually I just installed in my computer and it occurs this problem. My current window is Window 11 Pro and the Autocad LT version I using is 2016.

The problem is 2016 is not compatible with Windows 11

@albertanwk LT2016 is not supported in Windows 11, but then again you forgot to install the most important SP1 update for LT2016 that made it work well in Window10 (which might help it work in Win11) https://download.autodesk.com/us/support/files/autocad_2016_service_pack_1/AutoCAD_2016_and_AutoCAD_LT_2016_SP1_Enu.htm
