The error simply means tha hardcoded paths to the files cannot be found on your PC: if they can be found on other PCs you need to dig a little deeper and find out why.

Perhaps you don't have access to that drive or that folder or that PC for example. You alone need to dig and find the differences between the two PCs accessing the same exact DSD file.

Using Batchplot. opening existing dsd file but I get a lot of drawing not found errors. the drawings do exist and I can open them ok. colleagues run the same dsd file but do not get this message. if I remove and then add back in the "missing" drawing it then finds it ok. there are though a hundred or so drawings so not a quick job. Need to get a fix please, thanks

@ marc.primaroh,

Welcome to the AutoCAD LT forum board!

I need a bit more information from you.

Are all your drawing files saved to a server/network/cloud? Can you try saving one of the files locally? Does the issue still happen when the file is saved locally?

If you have multiple colleagues that are able to run the BATCH command and not have an issue what's changed on your system that hasn't changed on theirs?

Have you download or added new updates to your system?

Thanks Sarah. all files are on a server to which I and colleagues have full access. if I manually load any of the files from the server or a local location it is ok and no error occurs. my colleagues are using LT 2014 same as me. I am not aware my has any updates that theirs do not. I thought I'd speak with our IT people and get mine reinstalled from scratch just in case there was an install error that batchplot is picking up. thanks

thanks Dean. I did check the paths and all of the files are in the same location so this tend to point towards an error rather than a path as otherwise none of the files would load without error. only about a third of the files load with the error message, the other from the same source folder are ok. thanks

If after speaking with your IT person and you folks run the clean uninstall/reinstall post back in the thread if the issue is still there.

Hi Sarah. got it sorted and it our IT guys that spotted it. I had not noticed the front of the file path for the error files was using a mapping letter rather than the full path name, as its a long name only the end was displaying which was identical. I edited the dsd files in notepad and did a find and replace with the full path and all the errors are now resolved. thanks for your help
