I was using AutoCAD LT and tried to open a .dst file and I keep getting this error message.

INTERNAL ERROR: !dblaymgr.cpp@301: ePermanentlyErased.

I'm currently working on a big project that I need to get done today and this is not helping. Here are the troubleshooting steps I took so far:

1. Restart/Shutdowm my PC

2. Repaired AutoCAD LT

This did not help and I keep getting this error message every time I try to open the .dst file. It was working fine yesterday and now this morning it won't work?

Please let me know what the solution is and I appreciate all help with this.

Thanks!

It appears you have a corrupt DST most likely: not much you can do about it now, sorry.

Can anyone else in your office or group open that same DST file in that same folder? Just in case you all have multiple DST file with the same name etc.

Actually it wasn't a corrupt DST, one of my co-workers discovered it was one of my drawings in the set causing the issue. I just used the bak file to restore and it is now working just fine.

What happens when you generate a new dst file in Publish window and then try opening that new dst file? If that’s successful then perhaps the other dst file got corrupted
