When I click the mouse on the screen, the x y coordinates follow the cursor around on the screen. How do I disable this?

It's called 'dynamic input' and you can toggle it on/off using the F12 key or it's one of the icons on the lower right of your Autocad screen.

As Mr. @steven-g Said, disable it from the Dynamic Input options.

This bar can't be disabled just make sure you are maximizing the view of the program.

Or you can turn Dynamic Input off using "F12" button in your keyboard.
