topic Script .scr in AutoCAD LT Forum

Good morning.

We are realizing some .scr scripts and one in particular to write some text inside two concentric circles.

What unfortunately we can not understand is why the same script sometimes prints the text in X, Y coordinates while other times the exact same script puts the same text in other coordinates!

Thank you.

Betreff: Script .scr

And where is your script to search for the mistake?

I think you do not handle your (running) object snaps,

if Acad ask for a point, what is your answer in the script?

And do think of current UCS?

Set UCS and handle the object snap.

If you dont need a object snap:

Hint: Set osnapcoord to 1, that disable the osnaps for scripts (works like you work in the commandline by hand)

http://help.autodesk.com/view/ACD/2019/ENU/?guid=GUID-94994960-5E62-4044-BEF7-9CF91667F641

If you want one special object snap:

If Acad ask for a point, answer with you wanted objectsnap mode, for example _center, then send the coordinates.

_center override the running object snap for the next input.

Upload you scr content.. and you get better help
