Arc to polyline

Hi, I'm trying to rettificate an arc to a polyline. I know that if i use the snap in the middle of the arc I can trasform the arc in a polyline, but that's not what I need. I need to create x polylines that simulate the arc.

Any idea to do that?

At the command line type PEDIT. Select the arc and then answer YES when it asks if you want to convert it into a polyline.

Also if you start a polyline, right click after you put the first point and then choose the ARC from the dropdown menu

Thank you for the answer. I'm trying your solution, but when I digit EDITPL (I think this is the command I have to use in the italian version) I have to choose from the options below:

I think I have to select "Rettifica" that means rectify, but it converts the arc into only one segment:

Those commands are for a polyline (from what I can tell with google translate). Can you post your drawing so we can have a look at it and see if what I say is correct

You could create an "ellipse" using the PELLIPSE variable (see the link below) and create one which has both radii set as the same as your arcs and then trim what's not needed.

In your sample DWG file, "DECURVE" option in PEDIT command does nothing to change it here

What are you actually trying to do? Reduce the number of straight lines to make it a smooth curve?

I can EXPLODE your original to get what you want in your sample file

I just have noticed that the arcs become polyline just after the PEDIT (alias EDITPL) command, without selecting any option, thank you!

Anyway I'm trying to do this because the command XCLIP (alias XRITAGLIA) requires a polyline and I was trying to use it to create a clipping outline for a texture that I have created using rectangular series.

This solution works, even if it is not possible to decide the number of segments, so the final result it is not excellent
