I use a variety Autodesk products and one of the solutions I find really useful is the Scheduling tool. I'm assisting a company at the moment who only use AutoCAD LT, can anyone tell me if it is possible to create schedules from within LT?

Thanks, it worked up to a point. However to make it into a permanent solution that is easy to use for my clients I think I'll recommend that they trail AutoCAD first.

Thanks again. I've been working on what you sent to me and the ATTEXT command with the .txt files work well for data extraction. The next piece of the puzzle is a little trickier and something I usually use REVIT for: Counting up pipe lengths from a sprinkler layout. The problem I have is that the pipe is drawn as a polyline and has to be manually added up when the drawing is finished. I can't seem to figure out a method of counting the lengths of polylines based on layers i.e. 15mm pipe layer, 30mm pipe layer, etc.

Again, it's an LT solution I'm looking for because my client won't budge when it comes to spending on full Acad or REVIT.

There is no LT ability to count Pline lengths, those need to be blocks (families) like in REVIT.
