A colleague of mine has a Logitech Mouse and Options installed on his machine.

He would like to have the forward and back buttons changed (inside AutoCAD) to the standard Move and Copy commands.

Can this be done and if so how?

You can do that ONLY if your mouse driver has "move" and "copy" as options for the buttons: I suspect not, correct?

So what you need to do is determine what options the mouse driver allows for those buttons, then in AutoCAD you can start CUI command, scroll down to the keyboard functions section, find those keyboard keys and key-combos the mouse driver can use, find which ones are free, then add COPY and MOVE commands to those functions.

Up for it? there are many excellent YouTube tutorials online, I'll get you started here
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+program+logitech+mouse+buttons+for+autocad+functions

And here is a page with links to tips (and HELP in AutoCAD) if you prefer the written word
https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Assigning-AutoCAD-commands-to-mouse-buttons.html
